As of 2023, NFPA 70B is no longer a “Recommended Practice”. It is now the “Standard for Electrical Equipment Maintenance”.  2 years on, the standard is beginning to receive a lot more attention and enforcement is looming on the horizon.  70B requires infrared thermography to be performed at least annually.  That interval could be every 6-months depending on the equipment’s “Condition of Maintenance”.  In addition to meeting these requirements, Kelvin Thermal Imaging can help with other areas of your NFPA 70B electrical maintenance program.
